Dr. Jason J. Rosenberg is a nationally recognized reconstructive microsurgeon with more than two decades of experience specializing in breast reconstruction for women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. He has practiced in both academic medicine and multi-specialty private practice before establishing his own practice: Rosenberg Plastic Surgery.
At Rosenberg Plastic Surgery, Dr. Rosenberg focuses on reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the breast and body, with a special emphasis on caring for breast cancer patients and women suffering from breast implant illness. His approach is grounded in surgical excellence, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping women restore their confidence and well-being.
Academic and Clinical Leadership
Dr. Rosenberg previously served on the Plastic Surgery faculty at the University of Florida, where he was actively involved in teaching, clinical care, and research. A published author and accomplished speaker, he has served on scientific advisory boards and as a consultant to both privately held and publicly traded healthcare companies.
Military & Global Service
As a former Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve Medical Corps, Dr. Rosenberg has provided surgical care to active-duty military personnel and their families at both Keesler Air Force Base Hospital in Mississippi and Eglin Hospital in the Florida Panhandle. He has also led and participated in numerous international surgical missions across Haiti, Central America, and Southeast Asia—delivering care and training in underserved communities around the world.

Dr. Rosenberg earned his BS, MS, and MD degrees with honors from the University of Florida. He completed his residency and surgical research fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shands Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in 2002. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
